Colegas Network
We will be hosting our very first Colegas Network Meeting on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 5:30 pm Central Time.
What are the Colegas Network Meetings? This is a space to promote community for LAHIDAN members. The goal of the Colegas Network Meetings is to create a space in which you can join a session based on your interests and preferences regardless if you are a student or a professional. You are welcome to attend a meeting to network with fellow LAHIDAN members.
During our first Colegas Network Meeting we will:
· Discuss LAHIDAN membership benefits
· Explain the Colegas Network Meetings vision
· Introduce the LAHIDAN Mentorship Program for those interested in 1:1 mentoring
· Have an opportunity for members to meet each other and tell us what they would like to see happen within LAHIDAN

Becoming a mentor
Do you have the experience you are willing to share? Do you have an interest in helping upcoming nutrition professionals and/or students grow in the nutrition and dietetics profession?
If you answered yes, we would like you to consider becoming a mentor for the current membership year.
Having a mentor
Are you a student member of LAHIDAN or new to the nutrition and dietetics profession? Would you like to be mentored by a more experienced LAHIDAN member?
If you answered yes, join our mentoring program, a mentee-driven program that connects students and newly credentialed LAHIDAN members to more experienced LAHIDAN members.
